CleanAir
The CleanAir Air Handling Unit which is a culmination of half a century of research, design and production experience in Air Handling Units and has been specifically designed to provide AHU solutions to Hospital, Pharmaceutical and High Technology Electronics applications, and in all general use where Indoor Air Quality is of fundamental importance.
With particular regard to the prevailing specifications in the UK hospital sector, we are able to offer units in line with the requirements of NHS CO4 and HTM 2025.
Including :-
- The use of materials which do not support microbiological growth.
- A casing design which has clean internal lines with no intrusions or crevices which would harbour bacteria, and allows efficient washing.
- The use of Stainless steel for components such as Filter and Coil Frames, Condensate Drain Pans, Eliminators, Dampers and AHU Casing.
- Condensate drain pans inclined in 3 directions to enable complete evacuation of water, insulated and provided with borosilicate glass traps (to BS 2598) accommodated within the height of the baseframe.
- Drain pans are fitted beneath all relevant components in a “drawer” type design and can easily be withdrawn or completely removed for cleaning.
- Access and lighting to all relevant sections.
- Motors located outside of the airstream where deemed necessary.
- Isolating dampers to seal washable sections (in 304 or 316 grade stainless steel).
- Plain copper tube frost coils and a comprehensive range of materials and fin spacings for other heating and cooling coils.
